WEEKS 11:LAND CLEARING AND REPAIR THE BEES' NEST

 DATE: 14 JUNE 2024

WEEK: 11

Place: Plot Kelulut

INTRODUCTION:

This week's activities include clearing land on our plot. We cleared the plot of all dry leaves and placed them in the decomposing area. In addition, we work on some repairs at the stingless bee house before moving on to our group project.Sir Zafri gave us a briefing during which he discussed oil palm harvesting. The most crucial task on an estate is harvesting. It involves FFB's physical recovery. Harvesting typically began 26 to 36 months after planting, depending on the rate of vegetative growth. Harvesting is limited to a height of fifteen metres.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To improve the stingless bee house.
  • To enhance the plot.
  • To make the plot look tidy
