   DATE: 21 JUNE   2024 WEEK:  12 PLACE:  STINGLESS BEE HONEY PLOT, UITM MELAKA CAMPUS JASIN OVERVIEW: We are assigned the duty of clearing some land at our plot on the final day of fieldwork in Part 3 in order to maintain the plot's cleanliness. Then, by week 14, we must have completed our group project in order to present to Sir Zafri. Sadly, it rained so much before we could move on to the plot that we were unable to finish the task at hand. Sir Zafri made the decision to brief the Agrotech as a result. Sir Zafri gave us a lesson on sorting and grading this week. Sorting is the process of grouping products of the same type together, whereas grading is the process of determining a product's quality. WEEKS 11:LAND CLEARING AND REPAIR THE BEES' NEST

  DATE: 14 JUNE   2024 WEEK:  11 Place: Plot Kelulut INTRODUCTION: This week's activities include clearing land on our plot. We cleared the plot of all dry leaves and placed them in the decomposing area. In addition, we work on some repairs at the stingless bee house before moving on to our group project.Sir Zafri gave us a briefing during which he discussed oil palm harvesting. The most crucial task on an estate is harvesting. It involves FFB's physical recovery. Harvesting typically began 26 to 36 months after planting, depending on the rate of vegetative growth. WEEKS 10:pruning and sanitation on the plot

  DATE: 7 JUNE 2024 WEEK: 10 PLACE :KELULUT PLOT INTRODUCTION: Sir Zafri assigned us the duty of cleaning and pruning the plot this week. When we prune a plant, we take out its leaves, branches, and fronds, among other parts. Pruning is necessary to prevent pests and diseases, facilitate light penetration so that the plant does not have to compete with other plans, and facilitate the application of fertiliser and harvesting. We are currently pruning the Turner plant that surrounded our plot and have made repairs to a few of the plants to help them stand back.
